Easy-To-Use Driving Recorder With GPS

Dash cam 20 is a reliable, easy-to-use HD driving recorder with GPS that can capture both motion and still shots. It mounts to any vehicle’s windscreen and continuously records a wide-angle view of the road while you’re driving.

Once installed, the camera is fully automated: It starts recording when the engine is turned on and stops when it is turned off (when connected to a switched power outlet in the car). The integrated gravity sensor (G-Sensor) automatically detects incidents, such as braking or a collision, and saves the relevant video files along with footage from a few moments preceding and following the event.

The GPS receiver time-stamps and geo-tags all footage, so users can view exactly where and when events occurred.

Record in High Definition

Mount Garmin Dash Cam 20 to your windshield and record your drive in 1080p, 720p or WVGA. Dash Cam 20 records in a continuous loop, using the included 4 GB microSD card. To add more memory, add a larger microSD card (accepts up to 32 GB). Play back the footage on the LCD display or review later on your computer.

The camera has a wide-angle lens that captures the entire road. Its integrated microphone gives you the option of recording audio inside the vehicle.

Your Eyewitness That Never Blinks

There’s no need to worry about starting and stopping. If Dash Cam 20 is plugged into a powered source, it is recording.

All footage is stamped with time and location so you know exactly when and where events occurred. When reviewing footage on your computer, you’ll have a record of latitude, longitude, date, time, speed and direction of travel.

The camera features automatic incident detection (G-Sensor) with customisable sensitivity settings. When an incident – like hard braking or a collision – is detected, your camera knows to save the current, last and next recordings; thereby, preserving a complete record of the event.

The 2.3-inch colour display makes it easy to position the camera in the car and review video right on the device (when the vehicle is stopped of course). Dash Cam 20 is easy to install using the included suction cup mount for the windshield as well as a vehicle power cable. For a close-up view of vehicle or property damage, users can remove Dash Cam 20 from the vehicle and take snapshots

Tools to Review the Drive

Pop your camera’s microSD card into your computer or use the USB cable provided to connect the Dash Cam 20 to your computer and use the free PC Tool software to review your drive in detail (not compatible with Mac or Windows 8). Watch the video and its related data; see a map of the route, and use the Snapshot tool to grab still images.
